Tree Committee

The Tree Committee is appointed by the Selectboard to three year terms and is responsible for advising the Selectboard, Town Manager, Tree Warden and DPW Director on matters related to Town-owned trees, including plantings, maintenance and and long-term planning.

Current members include:

• Michael Cohen (term expires June 30, 2012)
• Richard Kelley (term expires June 30, 2010)
• Lee Krohn (term expires June 30, 2011)
• Bear Scovil (term expires June 30, 2012)
• Stanford I. Zecher (term expires June 30, 2010)

The Selectboard appoints Burr and Burton Academy students from Manchester to Town boards and commissions. The following students are appointed to the Tree Committee as voting members:

• Nikki Grossfeld (term expires June 30, 2011)
• Tess Montague (term exipres June 30, 2010)
• Hillary Spivey (term exipres June 30, 2010)
• Lauren Yeager (term exipres June 30, 2011)
