Applejack Field Sponsorship and Use

The Applejack Field is the focal point of Parks and Recreation, with a championship quality, regulation World Cup size soccer, football and lacrosse field. With over 5,000 spectators and growing and its historic grandstand, the field has a state of the art lighting system and is professionally maintained to a high standard.

Applejack Field Teams include:

• Burr and Burton Academy Football, Soccer and Lacrosse

• Long Trail School Soccer

• High School Championships

• Semi-pro Central Vermont Rampage and Southern Vermont Storm Football

• Semi-pro Vermont Voltage Soccer

• Equinox Valley Football Bulldogs

The Manchester Parks and Recreation Department has set the Fall schedule for Applejack Field:

Applejack Field Sponsorship Board Program 

• Cost of sponsorship board is $1,000 per year

• Size of sponsorship board is 16 feet by 4 feet

• Advertising season is August 1 through July 31

Revenue received from the Applejack Field Sponsorship Board Program is used to repay the loan used to construct the field. Gate revenue is used to maintain and operate the field.

Applejack Field Youth Lottery

The Parks and Recreation Committee recommended, and the Selectboard approved a change to the Applejack Field fee schedule that allows eligible Manchester youth organizations to apply to use Applejack Field at a reduced rate through a lottery. Two games a year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring, are allowed at $250.00. Download more information and an application at the bottom of this page.
