Minutes from November 29, 2011
Lattuga moved, seconded by Nichols, to approve the minutes from November 29, 2011. Motion carried 5-0.
2012 Vending Licenses - approval
After a brief discussion, Nichols moved, seconded by Lattuga, to approve the vending license for Nanz Hot Dogs through December 31, 2012 and Hound Dogs through April 30, 2012. Motion carried 5-0.
O'Keefe noted that Shulman needed to seek approve from the Design Review Board relative to the color of his vending trailer, at which point the Selectboard could consider extending his license through December 31, 2012 at no additional charge.
Listers' Errors and Omissions - approval
Bell moved, seconded by Lattuga to accept an Errors and Omissions Report from the Listers relative to property located on Richville Road. Motion carried 5-0.
Pool/Field House Update
Souls and O'Keefe updated the Board on the progress of the Parks and Recreation Department Workgroup and showed the Board some boards with 3D designs and floor plans. The Board took no action.
Other Business - Byway Grant Application
Krohn asked for the Board approval of a conceptual grant application from the Shires Byway Committee related to the Shires Byway, Route 7A.
Bell moved, seconded by Lattuga, to authorize the grant application. Motion carried 5-0.
Unsung Hero Award - ceremony
Bell, on behalf of the Board, spoke. Bell noted that the theme to this year's award was food. Recepients are Emmy McCusker and David Bentley.
McCusker was honored for her as a volunteer coordinator for the “Plant A Row” vegetable garden at the Equinox Valley Nursery where she plans, cultivates, and harvests fresh vegetables for the Community Food Cupboard serving 900 clients where she also serves as Board President.
Bentley was honored for the time he spends buying, storing and delivering all the turkeys for annual community holiday banquet as well as his work on the Komen Race for the Cure and many other fundraising events for community projects over the years.
Recipients were given certifications and the Board took photographs with the winners. McCusker and Bentley spoke.
Bell noted that there would be a reception following the adjournment of the meeting. Board took no other action.

Lattuga moved, seconded by Bell, to adjourn. Motion carried 5-0.
O'Keefe noted that the Board, as well as Water Board, was scheduled to meet at 8AM on December 30 to consider the FY 2013 budget.
