Selectboard and Board of Sewer Commissioners Meeting

Attendees: Ivan Beattie (chair), Wayne Bell (vice-chair), Carol Lattuga, Lisa Souls. Absent: Steve Nichols.

Other Attendees: John O'Keefe (Town Manager), Patrick McArdle (Rutland Herald)

Beattie called the meeting to order at 7:07PM.

Beattie explained that the meeting was originally warned at the wrong date and time, and that the error was corrected but that the Board would only take up non-controversial and non-binding issues as a result.

Minutes from February 28, 2012

Bell moved, seconded by Lattuga, to approve the minutes. Motion carried 4-0.

Selectboard Organization - tabled until next meeting.

Town Meeting 2012 - tabled.

Roundabout Update

O'Keefe updated the Board on the Roundabout, including plans to advertise the project on Friday, March 16, 2012. O'Keefe also noted that the Town recently hired Tricia Hayes as the project's public information officer.

Liquor Licenses - tabled until next meeting.

Other Business - Proclamation

Bell moved, seconded by Lattuga, to proclaim March 28, 2012 "I Matter, You Matter Day." Bell read the proposed proclamation. Motion carried 4-0.

Other Business - FEMA Reimbursement

O'Keefe noted that the Town received its first reimbursement from FEMA for Tropical Storm Irene.

Executive Session

Bell moved, seconded by Souls, to enter into Executive Session for the purposeof discussing contract negotiations. O'Keefe was invited to attend. Beattie noted that no action would be taken. Motion carried 4-0.
